After a wind event
- Keep clear of loose materials and damaged trees
- Do not climb onto a damaged roof
- Photograph accessible exterior and interior damage
- Move contents only when it is safe
- Call when rain entry or interior moisture is present
Recovery planning
- Identify and control ongoing water entry
- Assess interior moisture pathways
- Dry affected assemblies and contents
- Coordinate temporary protection where appropriate
- Plan reconstruction after conditions are stabilized
